Meet the Staff
Dr. Bob Wilson
Lead Pastor
Dr. Bob Wilson was called to serve as Lead Pastor in 2023. He has previously served as a pastor in churches located in Florida, Tennessee, Nevada, and Michigan. Dr. Bob Wilson and his wife, Christa, have six children, with five still residing at home; his oldest daughter is married and lives in South Carolina. Dr. Wilson has earned a Doctor of Educational Ministry and a Master of Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Boyce College of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Bob enjoys fishing, tinkering with vehicles, and spending time outdoors with his family.
Luke 11:28 is a verse that Pastor Bob loves dearly, “Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and keep it!” His favorite worship song is “In Christ Alone.”
David Hutto
Associate Pastor
Since May of 2000, David has been an integral part of FBCM, serving as our Associate Pastor, Student Minister, and Minister to Senior Adults. Prior to joining our community, he served at Calvary Baptist in New Orleans from 1981 to 1983 and then at Highland Baptist in Meridian, MS, from 1983 to 2000.
David, alongside his wife Kim, shares a family of two children, Ben (married to Lacey) and Rebekah (married to Jacob). Their family has expanded to include four grandchildren. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from La. Tech University and a Master of Divinity Degree from New Orleans Baptist Seminary.
Outside of his ministerial duties, David finds joy in camping, fishing, and playing golf. Among his favorite songs are “One Pure and Holy Passion” and “No Longer Slaves.”
Matthew Julian
Music Ministry Director
Matthew serves as the Music Ministry Director and Ministry Assistant at FBCM, primarily focusing in the area of leading the worship ministry. He will also be serving with our student and young adult ministries. Matthew and his wife, Hannah, are expecting a baby girl in just a few short weeks. Matthew grew up in our church, attending from 1998-2016, before moving to Louisville, KY, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Boyce College in Worship and Pastoral Studies. He is currently in his final two semesters of a Master of Divinity Degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and will graduate this coming May. Matthew enjoys playing music, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. Two of his favorite songs are “Be Thou My Vision” and “Thank You Jesus for the Blood.”
His favorite passage is from Lamentations 3:22-23, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Kim Hutto
WEE Care Director
Kim, along with her husband David Hutto (our Associate Pastor), has been a cherished part of the FBCM Staff Family for over 20 years, faithfully serving since 2000. Currently, Kim holds the role of WEE Care Director. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from La. Tech University and has a wealth of experience, having previously served at Highland Baptist Church in Meridian, Mississippi.
Beyond her dedication to the church, Kim finds joy in spending ample time with her sweet grandchildren. Her interests include traveling, camping, and reading.

Danielle Pendergast
Children’s Director
Danielle and her family became part of the FBCM community in 2016. Since March 2022, she has been serving as the Kids Director. Before taking on this role, Danielle demonstrated her dedication by faithfully serving in our AWANA ministry and various other FBCM ministries. Fin, her husband, serves as a deacon at FBCM, adding to the joy of having their family as valued members of the FBCM community.
Danielle and Fin are proud parents to four children. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Danielle’s love and passion for teaching children shine through when you spend time with her. Beyond her commitment to her family and church, Danielle cherishes her life on a farm, surrounded by beloved animals. Her interests include morning walks, homeschooling her children, and enjoying date nights with her husband. While she loves the beauty of snow, she also eagerly anticipates beach vacations with her family!
Becca Pickens
Little Kids Director
Becca and her family became part of FBCM in 2008. Joining the FBCM team in 2019, Becca serves as the Little Kids Director, bringing her passion for working with kids to our community. In addition to her role as little kids director, she actively contributes to our WEE Care ministry as a teacher and serves as the AWANA commander and VBS Director. Becca’s husband has been a dedicated deacon and serves faithfully on various committees. Becca and her husband, Phillip, are proud parents of three boys.
Her favorite verse is Romans 8:28, “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.”
Talita Vallejo
Office Administrator
Talita and her family became members of FBCM in 2019, and she joined our staff in April 2022.
Talita, along with her husband Matt, is blessed with two children. They actively participate in various ministries, finding joy in being part of the FBCM Family. Talita has a passion for translating and delights in listening to people speak in different languages. In her free time, she finds joy in singing, playing handbells, and immersing herself in Christian music.
Her favorite verse is Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Marti Robison & Hosting Team
Volunteers
Marti leads a committed team, which includes Darla Alling, Wendy Jackson, Virginia Walker, Linda Lee, and Kay Hurst. Together, they selflessly serve our church on a weekly basis, overseeing the coordination of Wednesday Night Supper and actively participating in a range of events throughout the year.
From organizing community gatherings to contributing to special occasions, this dedicated team plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of fellowship within our church. Their collective efforts embody the spirit of service and community that defines FBCM.
